The weather was lovely, had really nice stay on vacation traveling. The staff were amazingly nice and always had a smile. The location was marvellous and gorgeous in a very quiet area, right by Spain, Amarante, the Monverde vinification center in Vila Cova da Lixa and a vineyard with amazing views. Also, Igreja Nova da Lixa was 3 km away.

Great architecture, very friendly, competent & well-positioned team. Dinner & breakfast were wonderful. Super quiet!
The spa area & the restoration are located in a different building than the rooms (without covered connection). Room to my taste in terms of the colors was a little too "dark".

The room was well-equipped with a nice bath and magnificent views overlooking the vineyards, as for instance, just what was needed. The location was nice and the free parking was onsite. This hotel was in a very very nice area.

This hotel is outstanding in all respects. The architecture amidst the vines, the well thought-out interior design of the rooms, the top service of the reception, the tasting menu with wine accompaniment, the competent and friendly team in the restaurant, the excellent buffet at breakfast. The Monverde - Wine Experience Hotel is marvellous!

Relaxing getaway among the vines
We had a pool suite and it was gorgeous! The vibe of being surrounded by vineyards is just amazing. The staff was super friendly and really tried to. The food wasn't great, with dinners being too heavy and just lacking taste. Had to do a supermarket picnic one night, surprisingly fun!

It was just an excellent fit for a cursory stop in Amarante with extraordinarily good value for money. The food was delicious, especially the expertly paired wine that surprised us with its quality. Make sure to check out the dinner menu for some tasty local dishes.
